It varies depending on what’s involved, but here’s a realistic picture. The manufacture of kitchen cabinetry tends to take place before the renovation begins, and that takes between 4 to 6 weeks. Once that’s happened, the installation can take place. So all up, you’re generally looking at 6 to 8 weeks from the time you sign off on everything. We always let you know the schedule upfront so you’re never left wondering what’s happening or when.
Smaller kitchen spaces can actually be incredibly functional when the layout is done right. The galley layout which consists of two parallel runs of benching and cabinetry is one of the most efficient configurations you can have because everything is within arm’s reach. An L-shape is another great option if you have a corner to work with.
Additionally, in smaller spaces we also love incorporating clever features like integrated appliances, overhead cabinetry to the ceiling, and under-bench drawers to maximise every centimetre.
